Welcome!

The Journal of Corporation Law is the oldest corporate law journal in the United States. The student-run periodical published its first edition in 1975. The Journal has been consistently ranked as one of the top corporate law journals in the country.

The 2017 Symposium is titled “What Happens in the Dark: An Exploration of Dark Pools and High Frequency Trading.” The symposium will be held at the University of Iowa College of Law, in Iowa City, Iowa on March 30th and 31st of 2017. The goal of the symposium is to examine a portion of the modern market that remains largely outside of the public eye: dark pools and high frequency trading.

JCL would like to thank our co-sponsors: the Graduate and Professional Student Government, the Iowa Student Bar Association, and Tippie College of Business.
